KIHNU
KIHNU saar on suuruselt seitsmes saar Eestis, mis asub Liivi lahes laidude vahel. Linnulennult umbes 40 km Pärnust ja umbes 12 km Munalaiust. Kaardil väike, aga jala sammudes parajalt suur.
7 km pikk ja 3,3 km lai. Kihnu 16,4 km2-le mahub palju ilusat loodust, pisikesi ja käänulisi metsateid, rohkelt vaatamisväärsusi ja palju põnevaid sündmusi, et sisustada meeleolukas puhkus. Siinse rahva põhitegevused on käsitöö, kalapüük ja turism ning samuti ettevõtlus kohalikul tasandil.
KIHNU island is the seventh biggest island in Estonia, located between 56 tiny islets in the gulf of Riga. At birds-eye view about 40 km from Pärnu and about 12 km from Munalaiu. It is small on the map but large enough to walk through by foot - 7,5 km long and 3,5 km wide.
On its 16,4km2 Kihnu fits lots of beautiful nature, tiny and exiting forest roads, plenty of sightseeing and many events to fill a joyful vacation. The main activities for the local people are handicraft, fishing and tourism, as well as all possible kinds of business activities.
